Career planning is a person-centered, comprehensive employment planning and support service that provides assistance for program participants to obtain, maintain or advance in competitive employment or self-employment. It is a focused, time-limited service engaging a participant in identifying a career direction and developing a plan for achieving competitive, integrated employment at or above the state’s minimum wage.

As per DDD CCP Manual, 17.9.1, pg. 125

Individual Supports are services that provide direct support and assistance for participants, with or without the caregiver present, in or out of the participant's residence, to achieve and/or maintain the outcomes of increased independence, productivity, enhanced family functioning, and inclusion in the community, as outlined in his/her Service Plan. 

As per DDD CCP Manual, 17.19.1.1, 17.19.1.2 pg. 170

Individual activities needed to help a participant obtain and maintain an individual job in competitive or customized employment, or self-employment, in an integrated work setting in the general workforce for which an individual is compensated at or above the minimum wage, but not less than the customary wage and level of benefits paid by the employer for the same or similar work performed by individuals without disabilities. 

As per DDD CCP Manual, 17.20.1, pg. 177

Service/function that assists the participant (or the participant’s family or representative, as appropriate) in arranging for, directing and managing services. Serving as the agent of the participant or family, the service is available to assist in identifying immediate and long-term needs, developing options to meet those needs and accessing identified supports and services.

Our American Red Cross certified instructors provide initial, bi-annual recertification, and as needed trainings.  Pediatric and adult training variations are available.  Training is provided in the comfort of your desired setting or within one of our locations.  Our training schedules are varied and flexible.

 Devani Home Care Solutions volunteers provide their time and work on a variety of different tasks.  Many of these tasks include marketing, administrative duties, and team projects. The hours for this job vary and can be full or part-time, depending on the position and how many hours volunteer has available. Location of job varies based on volunteer geographical location. This job is well suited to people who are passionate about servicing others, are great communicators, love working as part of a team, and have a positive energy and personality.

Devani Home Care Solutions values and promotes education.  Our interns understand Devani HCS mission and philosophy, rotate through our divisions of responsibility and provides ideas to grow and improve the business.  Interns accept designated, business-focus projects to research, propose ideas and solutions, and present final project during internship.  Interns engage with customers or clients and provide service, provide suggestions to management for improving customer service and internal processes, learn and become proficient on internal software systems.  Interns shall be in a 2nd, 3rd, or 4th year program.  Prior industry experience is preferred.  We look forward to contributing to your educational success!
